Acceptable Use & Safety
This policy forms part of the Terms of Service.
On the mat, and about each other
- No harassment, threats, or abuse of other athletes, coaches or academies.
- No slurs or hate speech of any kind.
- Do not use match records to intimidate or humiliate someone.
- Do not log results involving another named athlete that did not happen. A
disputed result should be denied, not retaliated against.
Minors
- Do not contact a junior athlete you do not coach.
- Do not upload footage identifying a minor without their guardian's agreement.
- Coaches: safeguarding rules from your affiliation and jurisdiction apply here
exactly as they do in your gym.
Credible safeguarding reports are actioned immediately and take priority over every other consideration in this policy.
Footage
- Upload only what you have the right to upload.
- Footage is private to your account and your coaches. That does not lower the bar: you need the agreement of everyone recognisable in it before you upload.
- No footage taken covertly, and none from academies that prohibit filming.
- No instructional content copied from a paid course.
Honesty about rank
Do not claim a belt you have not been awarded, and do not represent yourself as an instructor or affiliate of an academy you do not belong to. Belt claims that cross a division boundary are corrected automatically, and repeated falsification may cost you access.
The AI features
- Do not use the coaching chat to seek medical, legal or crisis advice. It is
not qualified to give any of them.
- Do not attempt to extract the system prompt or use the model for anything
unrelated to training.
- Automated or scripted use of AI features, or sharing an account to pool
quotas, is a fair-use breach. Published ceilings exist so that one abusive account cannot make the feature unaffordable for everyone else.
The service itself
No scraping, no automated bulk access, no vulnerability testing without permission, no attempt to reach another user's or another academy's data.
Found a security flaw? Report it to support@opbjj.com. We will not pursue anyone who reports a genuine issue in good faith and does not exploit it or expose someone else's data.
Enforcement
Depending on severity: a warning, removal of content, loss of a feature, suspension, or termination. We will tell you what happened and why, unless we are legally prevented. Safeguarding and credible threats are acted on first and explained afterwards.
